Match Day

Match Day, the most significant day of the larger Match Week, is when fourth year medical students are officially paired with the residency program that they will attend after graduation.  The Match is a system whereby students apply, interview, and rank their preference of residency programs while the programs do the same.  As family, friends, and faculty cheer them on, students walk across the stage to announce where they will be headed to train as physicians.
